Insurance Claim Repairs

When hail, wind, a storm, a water leak or a fire damages your home, 4 Pillars Construction LLC repairs it and works with you and your insurance company through the claim. It starts with a free damage inspection, so you know exactly what you are dealing with.

You choose who repairs your home. We give you a clear picture of the damage, a written repair estimate and quality work, and we accept credit cards and offer financing for anything your policy does not cover.

Damage We Repair

Hail and wind damage to roofs: missing or cracked shingles, leaks and full roof replacement.

Storm damage to siding, windows and fences.

Water damage from plumbing leaks: drywall, flooring, cabinets and the plumbing itself.

Fire and smoke damage: repairing and rebuilding the damaged areas of your home.

How the Insurance Claim Process Works

1. Free damage inspection: we inspect the damage, take photos and explain what we find.

2. You file the claim: you contact your insurance company to open a claim. You can share our photos and findings with them.

3. Adjuster inspection: your insurance company sends an adjuster to inspect the damage and decide what your policy covers. We can meet the adjuster at your home to point out the damage we found.

4. Repair estimate: we give you a written estimate for the repairs, so you can compare it with your insurance company's decision.

5. Repairs: our team and licensed professionals complete the work and walk you through the finished job.

Texas Rules We Follow

Your deductible: Texas law does not allow a contractor to waive, pay or rebate your insurance deductible, or to advertise that they will. You are responsible for your deductible, so be wary of anyone who offers to cover it.

The claim is yours: in Texas, contractors cannot act as public adjusters or negotiate a claim on your behalf. You handle your claim with your insurance company, or you can hire a licensed public adjuster. We handle the repairs.

Common Questions

Is the damage inspection really free? Yes. We inspect the damage and tell you what we find, at no cost and with no obligation.

Will you meet my insurance adjuster? Yes. We can be there when the adjuster inspects your home, so the damage we documented is seen and discussed. The claim itself stays between you and your insurance company.

Should I call my insurance company or a contractor first? Either works. Many homeowners have us inspect first so they understand the damage before they file. If you have an active leak or an unsafe situation, contact your insurance company right away.

Can I choose my own contractor? Yes. You decide who repairs your home.

Will you cover my deductible? No. Texas law does not allow contractors to pay or waive deductibles. We do accept credit cards and offer financing to help with your deductible and any costs your policy does not cover.

What if my claim is denied or does not cover everything? We can still repair the damage, and financing is available. You can also ask your insurance company to explain its decision, or contact the Texas Department of Insurance with questions.
