Foundation Repair
Foundation problems call for an honest diagnosis. Many foundation repair companies inspect your home and then sell you the repair, so the more work they recommend, the more they earn. We do it differently.
Your foundation is inspected by an independent, licensed structural engineer who is paid directly for their own work, so they have no financial stake in how much repair is recommended. We can recommend engineers we have a working relationship with, or you are free to work with any licensed structural engineer you choose. Their recommendations are based only on what your home needs, and we perform the repairs to their plan. Once you have the engineer’s inspection report, we’ll give you a free estimate for the repair cost.
When the work is done, the engineer reinspects the repaired foundation and issues a certificate of structural integrity. Your repair is also backed by our warranty.
How It Works
Independent inspection: a licensed structural engineer, one we recommend or one you choose, evaluates your foundation and writes a report.
Repair plan: we perform the repairs the engineer recommends, nothing more and nothing less.
Reinspection: the engineer inspects the completed repair.
Certificate and warranty: you receive the engineer’s certificate of structural integrity and our warranty on the work.
Common Questions
Why use an independent structural engineer? The engineer is paid directly for their own work, not by the amount of repair, so you get an unbiased assessment of what your foundation needs and only pay for repairs your home actually requires.
Can I choose my own engineer? Yes. We can recommend licensed structural engineers we have a working relationship with, or you are free to work with any licensed structural engineer you choose.
What are signs of foundation problems? Common signs include cracks in drywall or brick, doors and windows that stick or won’t latch, uneven or sloping floors, and gaps around trim, windows or the garage door.
What documentation will I receive? You receive the engineer’s report, the reinspection, a certificate of structural integrity and our warranty. These records are valuable when you sell your home.
